Mounting CB Antenna on ARB?

I have a CB radio+antenna on its way that should be here in a few days and was wondering if anyone with an ARB bumper has their antenna mounted somewhere on it. I've searched and seen it mounted on a stock front bumper, but not an ARB. I really really don't want to drill anywhere on my new bumper, but noticed the round holes in the bumper that aren't in use at all, could it possibly go there? I haven't seen what the mount looks like that I will be getting with the antenna. But if anyone could let me know if they've done this, also their wiring design with it installed on the bumper, it would be greatly appreciated!

ARB has a hole at the corner end for an antenna. It should have plastic plug in it when not in use. Some people do mount them there. I, personally, prefer he rear bumper.

The plug is in front of the 3rd clip on the top of the bumper.

I ran it that way for years on my '91 4Runner.
It worked great in that spot.

AlexJet - Not on the Bull Bar, just the 2 holes that are offset from the middle 6 inches or so which are most likely for fog lights. But yeah, no plug w/ hole on mine.

Corey - Yeah I was thinking more of a spot like that, what did you use to mount and how did it hold?

In case your bumper is somewhat different, all ARB I've seen (Deluxe and Sahara) have antenna mounts. Center holes are for Lights. Some bumpers have those top bar antenna mounts instead of corner ones. I've seen Jeeps Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Land Rovers Discovery and Toyota FJ, Prado bumpers and all of them had mounts.

If you don't have wings mounts, then you should have these:

In worst case you can buy those ARB mounts ($30 from Expedition Exchange:

Alex posted the mount I had on my '91 4Runner.
Later ARBs came with a hole pre drilled like the one on my FJ.

I would not buy it from the link Alex gave though, the owners there are douchebags
I will never spend one cent with them.

I got mine from 4x4connection.com years ago.

I just googled the bracket and post a link. Never bought from them, so can't comment.

On the first picture (my wife's 2001) there is a hole in front of the 3rd clip which hold the plastic trim piece. Hole is covered with black plastic plug. Antenna is mounted using this hole to the bumper. This is very solid mount of an antenna.

To give you an idea:

Oh, sorry, I meant the first picture on your 2nd post. I have those 2 little clips on my ARB on the top middle bar, I also just got my Firestik yesterday in the mail and noticed there isn't really any type of mount I got for it. I am interested in putting it in the same location though.

Antennas mostly doesn't come with mounts, so you'd have to buy them locally.

Thank you, yeah I just went and bought one. Also, I bought a new radio antenna, just the 3ft from Firestik, do you know how I would be able to mount that in the antenna hole where the movable one previously was? Do I buy this same sort of mount?

Regular radio antenna may require Toyota OEM mount. I don't know if they are compatible with aftermarket units.
