The thing I really wish they would do is play forgein music. In my case, the middle eastern, arabic music genre. I am sure other would like to hear chinese, french, english, etc...music and I am wondering when are there going to be stations for such.

Nice comparison site Travis!

one thing to point out though... Both companies state "digital quality sound" (not "CD-Quality" as the comparison chart says) but folks shouldn't read too much into that.

NEITHER service is actually pushing 44.1khz/16bit audio (which is CD) - but the quality is much better than FM, and is less compressed overall.

They're both good... I wouldn't be without sat radio these days.

Great info, Travis. Now we have another excuse for speeding: "But Officer, I was listening to the Playboy channel on my new XM radio and got distracted when she said...".

BTW, have you noticed what's happened to their stock prices recently? A bit volatile, but until last week up about 40% over the past couple of months. Wall Street really likes the subscription service model.

For the major metro areas, the 24/7 traffic report channel is worth the subscruption price alone. The local traffic reports are just useless, always late, inaccurate, and mainly a commercial.
