Infinity Basslink II

Well, I just got it installed today (i know, i know, i was lazy/very busy and didn't want to take the time to install it myself)

DAMN!!!!

This thing is crazy. I've never had any subs before so there's nothing to compare there. Nor have I heard an original basslink, but the guys who installed it said it blew the original basslink away. The best way for me to put it is that it's wayyyyy more of a sub than I thought it would be.

Here's what it looks like, I'll get pics of mine tomorrow.

» compact powered subwoofer
» 10" square woofer and passive radiator
» Class D 250-watt amplifier
» wired volume control with 16-1/4' cable
» variable low-pass crossover (50-120 Hz at 12 dB per octave)
» bass boost (-6 dB to +3 dB at 40 Hz)
» phase control (0-180 degrees)
» frequency response: 20-120 Hz
» docking port for optional BassLink 4sc multichannel expansion module
» preamp- and speaker-level inputs
» vertical mounting dimensions (with mounting feet): 15"W x 15"H x 10-1/4"D; horizontal mounting dimensions (with mounting feet): 15"W x 9-3/4"H x 15-1/8"D
» warranty: 1 year

sweet man.

i have the basslink I. the price difference is like 100 bucks but the wattage difference is only 50.. so i thought there'd be little difference.

these little basslinks are quite impressive

Excuse my ignorance but what connections must you make between the stereo and the basslink? I'm guessing +12V and RCA inputs. Can you use speaker wire inputs if you don't have RCA outputs on your headunit?

Looking forward to seeing those installed pics.

Yes, speaker wire inputs can be used on this. I have the Original head unit that came with the truck from the factory. It works just fine, plus I don't have to deal with a new head unit.

I took some time to dial it in just right last night, and boy oh boy does it sound nice.

as much as i love my basslink ill be ditching it soon for a 12in sub

the basslinks are great if you listen to music that doesnt have a lot of bass....they dont respond all that fast and can get kinda muddy through the freq. range.

but if your looking for something simple for the missing kick for your system get a basslink!

Lee, isn't the sub powered already? Why do you have it hooked up to another amp? Thanks

I haven't seen this in stores for a while, but this is what I squeezed behind my seats, and it sounds great!

The Basslink T is still around. It probably has to be special ordered. In fact my local Circuit City has one for sale. I was thinking about picking it up, but wasn't sure how well it would fit in a standard cab toyota. Got pics of your setup?

I would be interested in a group buy if i could see a pic of how oly had his installed. I'm having problems picturing where it would go, and be out of the way. The only reason I haven't put a sub in there, is that I sleep in the back a lot when camping...and I camp a LOT.

So,what's the cost on one of those? I'm running a Bazooka EL series amp and a 10" sub and I got it all for just over $200.

thanks lee, that's the only place i pictured it. I don't want it to take any cargo space though. I have waaaaay more gear, a pup, and other stuff in there when I am sleeping in the back, so even that little sub takes up more room than i want.

Anybody know if there is an under-seat setup like they have for the rear of Taco's?
