are the cigarette lighters in a 99 Limited "hot" when the ignition is off?
If not, can I make one hot?

I want to record Howard on my Sirius S50 and need an external power source to do that.... my cig lighter.

but there is a way to jump the connection to make them all full time. but thats the problem: they all are live, full time. i cant remember where i saw it, but hopefully someone will chime in

you put it back in w/ the jumper in place, just like you do for the fog light wiring mod.

I did it with the jumper wire, and left the relay out. It took all of about 10 minutes. Works fine, but I'm probably going to pull the jumper and replace the relay, since I no longer need it always hot.
