Just a thought, with the site being sold and the forum no longer needing or relying on member contributions to keep its head above water, shouldn't we remove the link and option of contributing?

I have asked several times what is happening with the money I contribute, but never seem to get a solid answer.

However, if we no longer have to contribute, lets remove the unneccesary links and even the option to do so. Unless our contributions have major added benefits above and beyond what we have now?

From what I remember now, contributing now is wasted money. We contributed to help with server costs at the time. Now that we've sold out to who ever it is, this forum is in a finacial spot where donations/contributions aren't needed.

It's not like pirate where a contribution allows you to have the search function, nor is it set up where if you contribute you don't see all the ads. As of now, there is no advantage or purpose to do so.

I used to visit them frequently during my saintly churchwork years.
