Where is yotatech going compared to where we have been?
I have noticed in my year of lurking and posting that yotatech has gone way downhill.
The classifieds which use to yield lots of fruits are now yielding nothing.
Nearly non existent mods, well we might see some action if it's about Britney's roast beef.
Even areas which I thought would boom look like busts. The off-road section is weak in terms of content and traffic.
I guess I'm signing my death warrant

theres a thread smilar to this already but i know what you mean. Just as long as it doesnt turn into the flaming area pirate can be but in some cases it should be. Search is the greatest function in the online world. dont ask till you look.
As for mods check out my thread ive got tons of cool mods
And theres some other great ones on here as well it just takes that Search function

well id post if I could find something worth posting, I think it would be nice if for the off-roading section their could be a thing to find people to go off-roading with I just find it hard to find people to go with.

Since the year that I've been on here. This board is still going strong. Not all of the questions have been answered (there will always be questions), not all of the mods have been, once new models come out there will be questions and mods on them.
This site will continue to evole overtime with more information. Just be patient. It's not a matter of where it's going but how it gets there or something like that.
I'm still waiting for someone to swap the 4.0 V6 into a 3rd gen 4runner

I'm not sure what you've been seeing but the classifieds and off-road tech sections haven't changed a bit since i joined. They've always been slow but steady going.
If you don't like it here, you more than welcome to leave. I moderate threads and posts here 7 days a week. If you have an issue, contact one of us and it will be attended to.
Like wormhole said, just be patient. We are currently working on implementing a few additions and changes but they take time.

I think you just have to realize that YT is more of an international board than some of the others. I personally use YT for info pertaining strictly to my truck and mods / ideas. I use other local boards for trail rides, swaps, etc.
It would be kinda hard to schedule a ride when so few of us live in the same area of the country, let alone city / state. As far as swaps or classifieds, once again the local boards have that covered due to shipping costs.
Keep it about the trucks as the name implies and YT will continue to be successful. I recommend that you also look into finding a local club that has a board if you want to trade parts and schedule rides.

We are probably the worlds biggest all Toyota truck/SUV forum.
Busy place, many different personalities here, and did I say a busy place?
Plus if the tech areas and classifieds seem slow (they do not to me at all) it is winter, many are not into modding right now or working on their rigs until warmer months.
I myself am taking a long break from any modding on the rig until it gets warmer out.
