Circuit city pop-up ad

[mod's, please forward this to the tards who run the ads around here. I fully realize that none of the staff has any control over this, but first the google stuff, and now this?]

Look at this crap:

I can't use the Search function now, because of your idiotic ads. Get with the program, you morons!!!

I use adblock with firefox. Works like a charm.

When I used another computer the ads were like that too.

Axle, that is a Flash ad, that is the reason I was just told, and they do that.
Code has been added to prevent vendors from using the Flash style of ads here.

Please post here if this continues, but it should be fixed now.

Both this problem, which I noticed last night, and the problem with the Google ads running vertically instead of horizontally (different thread) seem to have been fixed.
Good to see that we're at least getting the 'FLIPPING RIDICULOUS' problems fixed. Now, can we get rid of the ads altogether?

Ads generate revenue so that they can keep Yotatech running.

If you want to get rid of them, then ask them to post about making donations to Yotatech. And have a deal too so much money, free sticker, ect. For the most part I think it would work great AND would cut down on the ads.

Whoops i just noticed it on the top. I would say post a thread about donations, I'm sure there will be enough to at least trim some ads.

Unfortunately, all of this is out of the hands of those who ran YOTATECH like it should be run. The new massas are looking for bucks. When I became a contributing member (see the line under certain forum names) I was informed that the site had raised enough cash to keep running, as is (was), for a decade or more.

Circuit city pop-up ad

Am I the only one out here getting SERIOUSLY annoyed by this Circuit City pop-up ad?!?! It's been taking me 5 times as long to navigate through Yotatech now because this pop-up keeps grabbing my cursor.
Don't suppose there is a way to make this pop-up go far far away, is there?

Annoying Pop Up Ads Every Screen

Today each time I cycle through a forum I get an very annoying Circuit City pop up ad. Sometimes the current CC ad pops up several times in a row. If my cursor happens to go over an ad, it pops up too.

I've been on YT today for less then 5 minutes and have had 12+ pop ups???

Circuit City ad is driving me nuts. Everytime i try to use the search function it pops up...again...and again.......and even when i dont roll over it--it pops up again---again---again......

Can we fix this? Adverts--ok--but unobtrusive please. and a side note--i was going to contribute--but since we have ADS, WHY?

1. Browse YT with Firefox.
2. Download AdBlocker Plus.
3. Install AdBlocker Plus
4. Enjoy.
