It seems Circuit City has "snuck" back in again.
They put a stop earlier to the "roll over" ad, it looks like they are back.

Message has been passed along to the correct department.

By the way, I have not seen any ads here for over a month.
I too like Elvota have the smart remote.

We're aware of the problem & have "red-lit" the offending campaigns. It may take an hour or so for the ad service company to pick up the changes. If you still see this going on after 3PM PDT, post here with the site the ad is for.

Can anyone please give us people who use IE a link to some program that stops these things.

I know of a program called peerguardian, but it is too strong and blocks some pictures too...

You are welcome.
It will be fixed, as it was last time.
This has nothing to do with the advertising department on the site here, it is the way the ads are submitted.

Long live FireFox, IE sucks!
I quit using IE long ago.
I only use it to do the monthly Windows Updates the second Tuesday of each month.

GAH the ad just covered my typing as I was typing this! WTF!

I don't think you need to buy firefox, I am pretty sure you just download it right?

I am about to get a new computer, and when I do, firefox will be on it.

I just have too many favorites on IE to just give it up like that.

OK, hopefully they'll fix this crap in the next little while. It pops up constantly, and half the time it pops up right underneath the mouse as I go to click on something. I'd definitley be willing to contribute just to get these friggin ads off of here. Either that, or just find somewhere else. BTW, it's the Circuit City ad.

I just don't see what you guys are complaining about...

And no, I'm not going to use FF or the like to make the site work the way it's supposed to in the first place.

I actually like IE.

Inquiring minds are just busting out of the seams about whats going on with this.....

Corey: I agree with RoadRunner and I know this issue has been brought up before, I never had a problem with the banner ads or pop ups before today. But there has been the most annoying Circuit City ad up top. Any time I got near the banner to get to the PM's or Search bar that stupid CC ad. I know Internet brands bought YT to make money and to do that they need to sell ads but give me a break. Somebody somewhere made a tweak and it sucks.

There is no tweak, this happened before awhile back.
It is Circuit City doing this, they pulled this same trick awhile back.

Their ad will be taken down before long, it is being looked into as I type.
