something else is awry though. When I select the 'post' prompt, it takes forever to take me back to the usual screen. I have to make the jump manually......something evil this way comes....

The flood is coming, the flood is coming
My Comcast inbox checking it at work just received about 100 back emails.
They are working on getting the ISPs to let the mail in.

Glad it is working.
DeathCougar, they asked me to check with you if you are getting them now, so I will let them know.

They worked on both of our email suppliers.

I use another trick though when I do not want my email bogged down.
I subscribe to the thread I like, but I choose "no email notification" from the menu.

Then each time I come on the forum and do not check all new posts, I just hit up my Control Panel, and there at the top are all the fresh updates to the ones I am subscribed to.

I use that method on several other forums where I do not want my inbox clogged down.

PS, it was not Comcast or others blocking, it was a DNS issue that arose.
The server docs debugged the problem

Ok, now I am getting replys from 2005. 08-14-2005, 01:07 AM To be exact.

Why are we suddenly getting notifications from 3 years ago? Most of these threads died in 2005.

You know, I took about an hour nap a few hours ago, and when I checked the PC for new email, I had about 5 from a few Boeing threads from a few years back.
They were of BT17R and Rocket congratulating me on my November post from 2005 about getting my Boeing recall.

I thought someone had replied to those 2+ year old threads, but nope, they were from back then.

Somehow many emails were hiding in some of the nooks and crannies of cyberspace, and just got let out.

Had nothing to do with me.
