2" is awful big for that stuff. People usually use 1.5" or 1.75" x .120" wall.

Yeah x2 2" is big. If you have a well thought out design and its welded well 1.5 or 1.75 .120 wall HREW is plenty. I would just google or check the yellow pages for metal stores and call them up.

You can also look up sch 40 pipe (Sp)?

There is a big debate whether or not poop pipe will work for cages and such, but some have used it with great success. Search it up, i found it a good read.

I used sch 40 fo my bumper and sliders. 1.5 inch pipe. Works great. I have banged on it pretty good a bunch of times. However, I wouldn't use it for a cage.

Well i have mixed feelings about it.

There is a long thread that i read where a guy built his whole exo with sch 40 and a harbor freight poop pipe kinker. It looked really good..

He said he has rolled/flopped it a bit and its holding up fine.
I believe he got the pipe for pretty darn cheap. And its better than nothing.

I would rather do it ONCE.. I will most likely be using dom tubing for my exo, if/when i ever do it.

2" is getting too big and become less structurally sound in the sides. ie its easier to dent i. imho stick with 1.5

Denting is more a function of wall thickness than diameter.

have you tried pattons? not sure if they have DOM tubing or not, but if they don't have it they may be able to point you in the right direction.
