Thanks guys yeah its definetly good to start a new year. My trucks had to take the back burner cause of funds and time alot this past year and along with the closing of reiter pit for the winter my motivation has been hard to come by. this year best be the year of the runner lol. I dont really have to much to do on it aside from the cage I really want for it and some misc wiring and whatnot. Im really wanting to take her out in some snow and since its now falling pretty good I think my motivation button is rising Now time for them funds to follow.

As for the steering link ? I could measure tonight when I get home. I moved my steering box forward on the frame about 1.5" I believe it was and I took out the stock shaft with the crush sleeve and replaced it with a solid piece of steel bar. I can fit my finger between them I know that.

glad to see that your rig is running now man. I've been following this thread since it was in its first stage, where I borrowed your Ford 19Gallon tank idea. It's unfortunate you couldn't get your 3.4L going, I FINALLY got mine running and done and yes it purrs too.
Nice rig, I'll have to hit you up when I make it up to moses lake area and we should go wheeling!

Well funny you ask.. So I sold a guy my 37's for $750. The guy who took my 37's knew a guy wanting to sell his 39's for $900 so I sold him mine for that 750 and only had to spend 150 for the upgrade. the guy now with the 37's which only really measure 34 totaly wishes he bought the 39's He didnt put two and two together at the time. I got a hell of a deal for some bada$$ tires

Ya I like th fat they are at least closer to what they are suposed to be. they Measure 38" compared to my 37's that were barley 34" Super swamper claims your suposed to drive on the road with the tire for 3k and theyll balloon up.. I think its BS your suposed to drive so many miles on an offroad tire to get its true size but whatever

Youll get your pics

Ya the guy who had the Iroks before me only wheeled them bout 3 times.. They have some good chunks taken out of them but plenty of tread. The guy had them also mounted backwards (well depending how he mounted them on his truck either 1 or 3 were wrong haha) Mount them the right way people becuase the majority of Iroks are directional

I love the thread and your 4Runner is kick ass!

I plan on going the route of a 4.3 instead of the 350 along with the toyota r150f instead of the heavy and longer NV4500... That being said im going to get to this after i SAS my 88 4Runner, minor body work, and a better lift...

That being said, what transfer case you running? i know your using the MC10R10 but all i can find is that its called a toyota 23 spline chain driven on Advanced adapters. Unless its staring me in the face and im just being stupid lol

Good luck! and keep going cause i need more ideas!

Nice dude I hope your project goes well.. Just do your reaserch and do it right the first time ive made many a mistake but great learning experience. Im running the stock toyota chaindriven case that comes with the r150f. and an older gear case (not to sure what I actual got it from but another older yota) for my crawlerbox Go to marlincralwer.com for all your toyota transmission and t/c parts. they have a bunch of info on there for ya.

Good luck
