Its goin Ive been having fuel issues so i got kinda pushed back like always. The Stock toyota pump only pushes about 35psi at the motor which isnt enough to open the CPI injector and spray fuel into the cylinders... I had to drop my tank (which I also did a little modifications too) and have to put in the new pump I have which will suply the motor with enough fuel to run (~45+psi). Its gonna be an external pump. Im having to make some new parts for the tank in order to run this pump I also what to add a float in the tank so the pickup in the tank will float and move with the gas even on the most extreme of side hills. Important so I dont have fuel starvation to the motor and kill it at the worst time.

I have to fix some of my coolant lines which sucks but has to be done...

Wiring is pretty much complete and looks very clean and tucked away inside and out. Just have a few misc things like lights and whatnot.

I need a cage and up the street from my bosses shop the guy bought a bender so I hope to use that very soon

Just work and time holding me back. Its hard to work on it sometimes aspecialy when you work on it all the time and its still not ready to go. Can be extremely frustrating. No one wants it more than me but I want it built and perfect before I go and try and break it again

Itll happen and more pics will come

You would get along with the Cali I live in. It rains everyday and never gets above 65!
That would mean you could possibly wrench on my rig

Are you sure that will be enough fuel pressure? My wife's blazer with the 4.3l would not idle or even start with 44 psi. IIRC, the spec was something like 55-62 psi.

Its somthing like that... Ive heard a million different people talk about it. Hard to believe a word from anyone anymore but true. Ive tested the new MSD pump I bought awhile back and it was showing better signs. I had fuel return back to the tank which my stock didnt do. I didnt get it to fire but I also had a back cap and rotor so I replaced that and havent really tried since to fire and keep it running.

I did just get that piece for my new gas tank mod im doing tig welded up and I have a 3day weekend ahead of me so KEEP THEM FINGERS CROSSED and say a prayer

lol man..

yea i hear you.. i hope this 4.3 gets working for you though.

My 3.4 has been acting weird, i think i narrowed it down to my tps possibly. ill have to run some tests on it though.

Hey fill, a little off topic, but im doing some tires shopping soon. Would you recommend the iroks? i think thats what im going with 39.5" iroks bias ply.

yes I love my Iroks more than any other tire out there right now. They will measure a little smaller like for instance my 37's are more like 34.5. But thats just the 37's and there issue. the 39's measure more like 38. Thats what im gonna get next I think that or some 42 iroks. I love them and the bias plys what you want if your not planning on driving on the road much. Theyll give you much better traction on the trails

Ya the yota motors too much electrical BS for my trail only rig so im glad im going american and simle, strong and cheap. hope you figure it out

mine runs though. Your the one that needs the hope!

SO are you just trying to narrow it down to a problem that is keeping it from running after initial start up?

it was a fuel issue my stock pump cant put out enough psi to get the thing to open the injector and run. I made a new gas tank sending unit that will work with an external pump I just need to bolt it up and do a little plumbing. I dont want to go into the tank ever again. Ill show you some pics this weekend when I upload them and work on the truck some. it will make more sence the new stuff Ive done to fix this issue.
