hey man, glad too see you've started yet again.
alot of your trials and tribulations on the runner have saved me some headache. which ultimately results in me keepin my 22re, ya she's gutless, but what are dual cases 4? lol altho when its all said and donw with i'll be running TG rockassault housing frt and rear, and 3linking front and still debating 3link or 4link outback, but i have finally bobbed, and even dovetailed my runner (good idea but wont do it again)

Im happy with my leafs for now. Maybe one day ill go links and whatnot but ive been happy with the performance ive got out of them I just want to get the thing on the trails already lol. I may slap in that 14bolt someday if I blow up my rear yota axle and maybe go 60 up front. that or the 14bolt will go under my chevy 1500 and a 60 infront of it. Its only 2wd right now but could easily be swapped to 4wd which I would love and could do for fairly cheap. Get some used 1ton springs and make my tow rig a real tow rig lol. I hear reiters going to be opening here early april or maybe end of april I cant remember. Been working 7days a week at the shop so been real busy but Im waiting for a nice day off and some sunny weather to open up my garage and pull the rig out

I got it to spin over last night but not pop out like it should. and this morning my roomate told me it didnt even work today how we tested it the exact same last night. Damn electronics lol. Ill be looking more into it tonight when I get home from my sisters 22bday Suns shining and summers on its way. Got to get her runnin already

I fired her up this last weekend. Have aslight oil leak from the pressure gauge in the dash.. Just need to replace the ferril and should be good there. Sounds real good and healthy. Im still needing to take it for a spin but hoping to this weekend if the weathers decent. been real stormy in the Pac NW. I took a video clip to prove it yet dont have a youtube or any kinda account so I can download it but ill see if I cant get one set up And the starter issue was just from sitting and had some moisture in the starter thus kinda seizing the springs. Its working perfect now after a little cleaning

Ill see if I cant get up to my rents this weekend and get that video for you all I know youve been waiting for it haha. Hoping too once I get my tax return to buy some steel for cage Super stoked!

hey i hope ya got that cage going now phil been checking the market here for 4.3 engines found some possibles but the old lady has kinda got on me she wanted a roll bar in her over sized dodge ram and she found one so that project is taken over (i promised her id put it in when i was done putting one on my truck hers will be easier and new) mine was for a s10 and required sum refishing cause it sat for 15 + years at trails west 4x4 center

Cool man! One thing you definetly should do if you want a 4.3 is find an entire donor. Life will be so much easier with everything from the donor including all the wiring harnesses. Ide almost throw in its gauge cluster and all the electrical from the 4.3 and get rid of all urs aside from like window stuff and things of that nature. I so with I had instead of having to do all my wiring tho the 4.3 is very simple.

Drove the 4runner this weekend up and down the block a few times. No leaks now fuel bump didnt seem to get hot like what happend last time I drove it and oil pressure seemed pretty good (fixed the leak there too). Also my radiator and lines seem to be doing their job no problems. watched the temp rise then dip once the thremostat opened. I plan to fire it up every day or two just to keep things fresh. Gotta play with the timing too a little as I had some very slight hesitations when I romped on it. I hit 4th gear BTW full throttle and felt great not to mention give me a boost of confedence and energy towards future progress. Cage will be the next big thing I tackle. I gotta find some fenders and stock hood tho im gonna modify them I need some new ones since my old ones were all smashed.

My buddys got a friend with 40acers so I hope to go out this weekend again if the weather holds and im not stuck at the shop workin. Definetly will take pics if I do. sorry bout no video yet you know how life goes someday is all Ill say haha. Common trend im sure youve all noticed haha.

Well till I get some more work done its back to my real work for now
