fiberglass 1/4's

My 4runner has a good size dent in the drivers side 1/4! So insted of getting that fixed I wanted to go with fiberglass and never have to worry about it rusting! So has anyone on here ever installed fiberglass 1/4s? The guy at toyotafiberglass has some cool stuff and I will be buying them from him? Just dident know how hard its going to be to installs the 1/4s

I think the owner of toyotafiberglass is on this forum and goes by slacker. How much did you expect a fiberglass 1/4 panel to be? $275.00 seems pretty fair to me. there are metal replacement panels for the same price over at http://www.alfaparts.net/toyota4r.htm This topic has been covered many times and I'm sure there are complete write ups on how to replace them if you would use the search feature.

not a problem .. there not for everyone .. and just to mention $275.00 is our Canadian Pricing , as we are a Canadian company ..( = $220.00 today in USA funds )

our pieces are hand laid , using ISO resin (impervious to heat or cold = NO shrinkage , and very tough to spidercrack) most companies use just a "general purpose resin"
but being that there stronger then the steel (you can see vids on our site ) , and a OE will run ~$900.00 .. (if you can still get them) I can see where you would think there expencive

I have a few links to installs if your interested ...

biggest issue .... is the wait to get them

yeah and than take a sledge hammer to your wally world rear quarter and see what happens to it.

watch the video of how tough the toyota fiberglass quarters are and you will see that they are worth it: http://s76.photobucket.com/albums/j2...edgehammer.flv
