That would be a great run, but I have to work Wednesday. Good luck, wish I could go, but again I'll be at work by the time you get off the trail. 12 hour shift suck for hours, but great for extended weekends.........

Looks like Kent, Westy and myself are in. Schaefer may even find the time to join... guess we'll see.

See you all at 7:00.

Success!!!

Well, Kent, Westy and I started at 7:00 and finished around 1:00. Were probably lost for a total of 2 hours, so next time the run would take considerably less. No pics... because it was dark.

Saw 1 gila monster, 1 skunk and found one fishing pole dangling from a low branch across the trail.

Here is the route:

High point of 3525 feet. 36.3 miles including our extra bit. You can see our wandering past Log Corral wash... that's where we took a wrong turn. It's a cool route overall. Nice to be able to get from Cave Creek road to HWY 87 via trail. Now I just have to figure how to tie Trail 404 into the mix.

Good trip guys. Log corral sure was a short and fast trail for the most part.

I want to get back in there after the monsoons come and hit the trail when its flowing, coming from the 87 side. Another trail near Log Corral we need to hit is Mud Springs.
