Big time! It's a lot different as of now also, sitting on Chevy axles so its nice and wide. Blew up my front locker and came up on axles for free pretty much so I'm not going to argue with that!

Yeah, I found a full bed on Craigslist and was going to get it, so the night before I ripped my old one off. The guy kept bailing on me so I just mounted my gas tank up by the cab and that's how it's been ever since haha!

I have a pretty elaborate truggy style cage I'm going to do once I get enough money to buy all the tubing and spend a week on the bender

If I could caution you before you make a decision, it gets really hot here in the summer time. I think most who are native to the area have found a way to deal with heat that I haven't quite figured out yet. I'm working into my third year here and couldn't wait for it to start cooling off this year. I agree with your statement. It was a bit of a culture shock with how nice everyone has been that I've met, either from here or just around. It was weird at first...what you're willing to help me do this and not expect to get any thing in return?... Again, I feel I'm still getting use to it. A stark contrast from my home town in So. Cal. that's for sure. Santa Rosa is a nice place with awesome year round weather..that's the only reason I caution. Other than that, it truly is a great place to live and there's much better gun laws here than in Calif.

 

I figured the heat would suck but i dont mind that as much. How are they on vehicle laws? smog engine swaps and such? the people around my area suck for the most part, i passed this guy sitting in a parking becasue he had a dead battery in his cummins, he said that he had been sitting there for a couple of hours before i had arrived. thanks for the insite

 

As far as I know, I may be wrong, but as long as you can pass emissions they dont care what kind of motor you have. I have done swaps in a couple of RX7's, and a couple Yotas, and as long as I smogged clean they didnt care. Compared to Kommiefornia, our laws concerning just about everything are pretty sensible.

 

I register mine up north and cut off all the emissions garbage. that's where the Midwest in me comes out...

 

As do I, I just didnt want to say it. Lol Made the 3.4 swap a little easier without having to deal with emissions!

 

when you guys are saying up north does that mean kingman area? i have a cousin that lives in kingman and i could probably do that. how are the laws on cell phones?

 

Not sure, but mine is registered in payson. Cell phones are allowed in AZ, but only after 3pm...
