Great link.....part no. in the diagram is 23802D...you see I need alot of em...fortunately they don't seem that expensive..I'll check with the dealer first and hope they have them in stock.

Has anyone heard of "Arizona TPI"? They're the EFI specialist I'm taking my injectors too.

Edit: BLKNBLU--you gonna bring your yota to this event? I'm interested in checking out your SAS.

I will ask Chris tomorrow I'm sure he won't have a prob. with it.

Toyotapartszone.com is awesome, I ordered my Differential breather plug and union fittings. Very easy to use site.

Cool---Are you still excited?... I found my side bearing adjuster tool...thought I might have gotten rid of it during my move.

I wanted to ask you if you wanted to replace the pinion seal while we have the third out? I know some like to do it and some don't...my feelings on it are an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We should check the bearing run out before we decide it...However, if it's been recently replaced already, then there's no need...if we do this, we can inspect the pinion bearings more closely. Only down side is, we might need a new crush sleeve. Just food for thought.

Broke as a joke...

Trust me Roni, I understand.

Was just putting it out there in case this might need to be done...pinion seal and crush sleeve shouldn't be to hard on the wallet...but it's not my wallet getting hit so it shouldn't hurt me to bad...

Do we have a definite list of who's expecting to show up? I know you'll be there as will I....anyone else? Oh yeah, chairs...almost forgot...I have one stool and one office task chair...all other's are in the house and wont be allowed out in the man cave...and I dont like sleeping on the couch so those aren't allowed out there...just given a heads up with this.

Last Unlocked Off-Road Run

This was a pretty scary spot.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrxIsoFZ4mA

Just had to get in the last bit of off-roading before the install! Don't worry she'll be cleaned up for the install. I HATE working on a muddy truck, having all that mud and dust fall on your face!

YouTube..

Just watched your latest rendition...Your editing skills have improved...However, DUDE...You really need bigger/ newer tires. Newer tires alone would go pretty far...but BIGGer is better...OH!...and a locker wouldn't hurt either...

I'll check on those parts and edit this post with the pricing...

Couldn't find the crush sleeve online at either of these stores...maybe special order...

Thanks man! Yes Yes I know! lol Bigger better tires are in plans! Super expensive though! I'm dead set on BRAND NEW 32x11.50x15 BFG Mud Terrain KM2's. I know they will rub cause my 31's rub a little on u-turns. What do you think?

They're gonna be super expensive so gonna be a while....But im willing to wait.

I'll try to put the link in here...but I'm runnin' 35's...I wont get near full articulation like I want, but I'll sacrifice that for the time being, not to get stuck in the ruts everyone else is leaving...like I've mentioned before, I need to do a simple trail run to work some of the bugs out and see where I rub and then take it from there.

Oh..and it only takes time...every off-road vehicle is a work in progress... and you'll never be done with it.

And they're not as loud as I would've thought they'd be...really doscile with the noise...even compared to the A/T's that were on there before.

Game Plan

Okay guys so Ted had a really great plan that was brought to my attention. To make this build go quick and smooth what we can do is for each part of the breakdown, rebuild, and reinstall We'll decide who would feel most comfortable doing what part. This way everyone can get their hands in the process and the whole thing will be a little more planned out and set up.

For example Ted said he would take the chore of the whole set up of the third member..making sure the gears are set up and the preload on the bearings are good to go.

Me...I don't know much about any part of this install. So maybe I can be a helping hand in every step. I really wouldn't know what to do in any 1 step and besides I really want to learn how to do this whole thing so maybe I can pass down the favor some day as well!

So tell us what those of you who are coming think, and what you would feel most comfortable doing. We figure if your more comfortable doing a specific part then maybe your less likely to make a mistake.

Thank you Ted for what I think is an ingenious idea!

Sweet! I'm up for anything but the final setup on the third.

Unless someone else wants it, I'll go with the diff removal.

Good news and bad news:

Bad news, I'm going snowboarding Saturday and won't be able to make it

Good news, I'm going snowboarding Saturday - and I don't know much about installing a locker so I'd be fairly useless anyway other than a tool/beer b!tch

We're just going for the day, so I'll be around Sunday if you guys are going to do a run.

Roni - I'll bring you the matchbox 4Runner when we meet up for a trail run

Sorry I can't make it - good luck guys!!

I've been welding for a little while. As a matter of fact, I want to get my certifications, and I just started my welding classes today at Mesa Community. I believe you have my address, so stop on by with it and I'll take a look and see if we can knock it out. I'll PM my cell no. to.
