My clutch slipped a little bit today, made me nervous! Tried to get it to slip again and it felt solid. With my luck it will go out the one time I don't trailer it out haha! Oh well... Any opinions on a good clutch kit? I was looking at the super duty Marlin one seems like a decent price too.
Sunday is fine if that is better for you.

Shall we mark it down in permanent ink? Sunday 8:15-8:30 meet up at the Gold Canyon Shell?

took some friends out to Tip Top yesterday. Did some shooting on the way and then ran into Mike S. at the mine having lunch. If you look closely in the first pic, you can see him.

Already called BLKNBLU, the wife gave me that "look" when I reminded her I what I was doing tomorrow right in the middle of her setting up our day...then reminded me of the evergrowing honey-do list I have going. I've ignored it, what along with my work and school schedule and she say's it needs my attention. WHATEVER!

When do you think you'll know? It may be just you and me. So... if no you, then just me.

Lemme know.

It took on power when we bought the house together. Marrying her had nothing to do with it. Remember, she's the one who came up with the cash for my 4Runner....very recently too I might add. But I truely have been ignoring the "list". Here's the trick I've come up with, for every 3 - 4 item's listed, wheeling or working on the vehicle is in there. I seem to work on everyone else's vehicle's and mine, unfortunately get ignored...so that's worked in there to. Like tomorrow, I'm installing my long anticipated rear OME 891's. Shocks are suppose to be here early next week. The shock's are being moved from an inboard position to the outside of the frame rail. They're not the stock style but valved a little on the softer side and are approx. 2.5" longer for a little more flex. We'll see.

Jedi- Sorry you're not feeling well...puking sucks.!!

Mike- Man, this has to change at some point....we keep missing eachother...the lines have to intersect some where.

So I couldn't make it to Hackberry this weekend because I made a committment a long time ago to take my friend Ken out to Butcher Jones so he could get a feel for the area and GPS a way for his off road club to do a big run out there. Unfortunately, we are about a week or so too late. These signs were EVERYWHERE:

The only accessable areas are the first and second coves. We traveled up the wash between the first and second looking for a way to get to the third or further - no way at all. We ended up taking the trail from the coves to 4Peaks which was ok, but nowhere near as much fun as it would have been to go to all the coves. I guess we will have to find a new place to frequent

And, just for the record - some of the trails only had this sign on one direction of the trail - so in the pic, Stacy and I were coming up the first hill climb and this sign was pointing towards a different hill climb to the top of the first ridge.

Dude....that sucks! So the first hill climb is closed? What other trails are out here that we can frequent? And at this time of year...the weather's awesome and they go and do this crap. Do you think it might be because of that guy that was killed....I think you were telling me about this...no?

I'm pretty sure its because of that guy. At the first hill climb, the ONLY one that is open is the super easy one to the far, far right. Then to get to the first cove, the only way is the little Playground area - the way I took us to the 2nd cove is the only way to get to that one and everything else is closed - we explored around for a few hours looking for an alternate way, but no such luck. There were some guys at the first cove saying that someone from Nat'l Forest Service told him that they are going to keep it closed for a few years and they are going to have some youth groups come in and plant a bunch of cacti, trees, bushes and whatnot ON all the trails they want to make disapear; once that is all grown in and those trails have completely vanished, they will take the signs down - when they are no longer necessary.

That does suck. You think its worth a call from one of us to confirm the details? What would be the contact info - I'll call.

I rode my dirt bike a while back north of Bush Hwy off 87 on the west side. Something creek maybe? It seemed like it could be fun wheeling.

i was going to call the Mesa Ranger District to see what I could find out.

As for the trails on the other side of the Beeline - thats Sycamore Creek, which will probably be the next area to get closed. I'm not a big fan of that side becuse it has SO much bike, quad and side-by-side traffic, its no place for a truck. Last time I was down there I saw 2 quad accidents and was almost involved in a few. They are very reckless over there.

We may have to just go further out to Florence for our new Usual Trails.

How many miles did you kayak? I love kayaking Lake Powell, I usually do 10-20 miles in a day. Kayaking and camping at the Navajo Canyon beach in Lake Powell is the best.

Access only by boat about 12 miles from Antelope Marina, no signal, awesome views!
