Hackberry GPS. Not my file but its a garmin file that will drop into google earth. The tail on the southeast part of the loop i have never taken. I have always stayed on the loop.

Now that I think of it, the last time I was through there I walked the whole thing because I spotted a Stock FJ Cruiser with 32" tires. Touched a few times on the skid plates and rock sliders, but not too bad. Problem was it was very slow and a lot of work. Stacked some rocks too.

Check it out.
Just north of Top of the World? Saw a bunch of trails there on google earth, tried the coordinates but it didn't come up with anything

I am traveling Nov 8-13, Nov 16-20, & Nov 29-Dec 3.

I just got the OK to go wheeling on the Sunday (all day solo) of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I would like to hit some tougher stuff and Hackberry would be a great day trip.

How is Nov 27 for Hackberry Creek?

I'd like to check out Hackberry. It's one of those runs I've always ended up missing for one reason or another. Gotta check on the 27th. That's the first day of the next schedule for me so I will have to verify before I can commit.

Definitely. Right where we turn off US60. We can all meet up somewhere on the east side and caravan from there to keep it simple.

I also want to get to the tougher Table Mesa trails. I know how to get back there, but just haven't yet.

I'm ready when you are! I haven't been able to see just what my truck is capable of yet, so I'm definitely in.

Perfect. My truck is nowhere as built as yours, but I'm finally comfortable with its build and setup. It should be pretty capable except for the truggy trails if I'm smart about line selection. We should be able to do a lot

The guys I normally go with are great drivers, but on stockish rigs so we are limited.

I need to fix my rock sliders before Hackberry Creek. I have a front diff with an ARB waiting for me to install when I have the time. For HC though armor is more important and the front has a LockRight now.

BTW - I will be selling that front diff with 4.88 Yukon gears (400 miles of wheeling and was new in beginning of 2010) with a Lockright. I replaced the diff axle seals prior to install too. I'm looking to get the parts cost of gears and Lockright which was $400.

Should be a good winter...

As a gun guy and shooter, I am truly embarrassed. We (shooters) will have no one else to blame or have no reason to wonder why shooting areas get shut down.

no doubt. i don't get why people can't just use paper targets, fruit, or biodegrable pigeons. Not only that, but it's sad to see so many spent shells just laying on the ground.

Clean up....

Really disappointed I didn't get a chance to head out there with the other's. I ended up helping the brother-in-law take the little Tacoma he bought from me to his son in Cali. I did, however, come back with a toy I've been piddeling with for a few year's now.

Here's a couple pics:

Getting loaded on the trailer.

Thank you! My dad raced it SCCA back in the 60's but got out of it because the guys he was beating started coming in with "Factory" sponsorship. The three sanctioned races he entered, he won and I have the flags from them...kinda came with vehicle. Has a TON of sentimental value.

Nice MG Midget Ted. What are your plans for it? I say swap in a sr20det!!! I always loved the full rear wheel arches instead of the square designs they had in the early years.
