Hey jon...?

Can you rehost or maybe retake some pictures of your rear bumper you made? I'm thinking about making one in my welding class and need to see how hard it is going to be. I like the way yours turned out, I would just have to have some type of wing on there to cover the gross part of the body on the sides. I'm also guessing I'll have to go ahead and get my body lift in before I start attacking this hu...?

Damn, thats it??
What brand is it? Are they cheaper if you don't need the bumper brackets? I'm not sure if I'm going to go with the 2" or 1.5". I really wish I had a chance to look at jon's on the last meet

roger brown man, roger brown.

since you have an aftermarket bumper i dont guess the bumper brackets would work for you. to answer your question, yes it would be cheaper w/o the brackets by about $15 i believe.

sweet...

That will be the first thing I do after I get the new alt in. Mom might kill me since my truck will actually look lifted, but... I think I can manage.

Hey sam,
Where did you order the lift from? Does roger sell direct? Did you get the "extreme" blocks or anything? Basicly where is the cheapest place to get the lifts from? If he will do direct then i'll do that but i'm not sure where to get one. I'm talking Steve (guy with taco that came up to uwharrie with me) into getting one also shoot... maybe he would have done a group buy... anyone else want one? I think i'm only going to do a 1.5 but... i could change my mind and do the 2. I just hear people having to do tons of other stuff and i'm not sure what model does have to do other alterations. If jon would reply I could ask him b/c I know his is about the same age as mine. Its a limited too so if we have the same year I might just go ahead and do the 2. I mean... if i'm going to be grinding the TJM I might as well grind a little more right?

Ordered it straight from roger. Just shoot him an email. I did standard everything at 2''. Anything over 1'' will be the same price as a 2''. I researched it and all i found is that you have to do a steering shaft extension and it costs like 30 from him. Some people do the radiator relocation but he said its not necessary. All you need is blocks, bolts, front bumper relocators (dont know if theyd work for the TJM), and steering extension. mine is scheduled for fri deliv.

How did you manage 133 shipped...? He quoted me 135... I guess he is just guestimating $15 for shipping and its less? Still, mine should be cheaper!! I'm not getting the bumper hanger... hmmm... What do you guys thing about the metal spacers instead of the poly b/c I hear poly creaks? Or is that just in the suspension spacers? Mike... I think it was you that I was talking about this with you. Dammit, what am I doing... NO austin NO MOVE TO 4ROC SITE...

The Bumper is made is from DOM and 2x2 square. I am gonna make a exo cage and need my tire carrier. I fabbed up a nifty CB mount with a 4" fire stick and a stainless spring.
I am gonna build that tire carrier after I get off the lake and figure out how not to burn the trailer down using the dryer to power the welder.

This is the bumper with the new Hi clearence crossmember

My post that I forgot about after Amsterdam

You got my tail light yet punk?

I am gonna make duel pipes that go between the body and the frame rails and exit behind the tires. BTW does any one have an exta transfer case output shaft from Marlin cause mine is about gone
about rolled my truck on my land (hardest trail in Mooresville) I git some film and pull it off and post. I broke the 4 mega pixle camra with the dog bowl from a 50ft throw :pat:

I don't have Net axcess so It's kinda hard to post

You talking to me about the tail lights?

Sure, if you give me say $20 plus trade your left tail light for it. (I'll give you mine incase you want to switch back its just a hair darker than the right one and it bugs me. You can probably clean it out better, but I couldn't get it any brighter). Let me make sure I have my stock ones here in a-ville and I'll bring'm to the meet.

Um, I'm going to be there friday mid-day. I'm leaving here at like 9 and it takes like 4hrs so I can meet up with my god-father before he takes off for his place out in Wilmington. Your welcome to come then and get a tour of his place. Want to meet somewhere on 40? I don't know how far you are or how you would get there, but it would be nice to meet up and caravan if your taking 40.
