rock on!!!

Awesome!

I just got done looking at the pics and I'll tell ya...it sure looked fun. I have to ask tho.....did both of you guys go in there WITHOUT a winch? Brave souls if so... ; )

Ya know what would be neat....my neighbor races his Miata @ Summit and VIR, and has a camera shock mount that he attaches to his roll bar. I could snag that and hang my camera either above or below my rollbar. Easy to do since the top is off. Could be some really neat footage...pointing forward so you can see what's coming thru the windshield for the driver's view...or turned around to capture a trailing rig or whatever! Yowza....of course....there is the potential for someone watching it later to get motion sickness. LOL!

Separately....does anyone have any info/feedback on this CORE club (other than what's on their website). Anyone we/you know a member? Just curious. Did anyone notice they don't have any 4Runners in the Members Rigs section? Hmm.

Let me know when you guys go next! I'd love to take my topless '88 out for a spin!

Peace,

Sean

Well, it wasn't our original plan to hit that trail. Plus, being a noobie at 4wheeling, I don't always know when I should be skeered.

The camera idea is a good one. I was thinking about something along those lines while out there. Digital cams don't really get the idea across. That, and it's hard to catch a pic when the moment in question lasts a second and the camera takes 5 seconds to boot up.

I don't know anything about CORE other than what's at their site. I might be fun to join them on a ride or two. They seem to know where the trails are.

Whenever you see a ride mentioned on this board, feel free to join up. The more the merrier, and the easier it gets to pull each other out of holes and such.

I would think that its a ok fishing spot, but i've never tried it. Chris and I were talking abot maybe a day to drive on up there in the morning, fish for a while have some lunch, then continue on down the trail. It should be a real easy drive on up to it, but there is some 4x4 spots.
