I don't see what makes it so limited. Its a nice truck. no doubt about that. That interior looks mint. I'm jealous of the floor mats. I don't think hes dreaming on the price too much. At only 120 thousand clicks, its barely broken in. How about this, if I was looking for a toyota to restore, that would be the one. Having an all original first gen is rare.

Price is about right. I mean if any of you guys had that and needed or wanted to sell. You would let it go for less. Plus no smog is a plus

Looks good but not for that price. Can find 2 or 3 1st gen 4x4s for that price

The limited edition is what he says it is, they are pretty rare and they really were built.

I think if he put it on Ebay he would get alot more for it. Having the #1 Limited Edition truck is about as rare as it gets.

I just looked up that same thread James Woods.

So pretty much he is saying each dealer got 1 of these in 79 to promote with, and that this is #1. So does that mean this was the 1st factory 4x4 pickup that was shipped to the states?

I doubt it was the 1st truck here but its the 1st Limited Edition truck.

To me its just another 1st gen 4x4 but I'm sure somebody out there would pay top dollar to own that thing.

Just look at what the '85 4runners sell for now days.

Same for the Portland area, its why Dropzone is having such a problem getting his Trekker tagged.

I would love to own that beauty. I'd give it to my mom in NV and avoid smog anyway... about to do that with my '94 actually.
