Tracy,

I tend to agree with your guess. I'm hoping I can purchase just the one coil spring isolator. If not, then I'll probably opt for a new Revtek and write off the Daystar $$$.

Chris,

Once you get a new spacer throw your kit in the back of your truck and stop by on your next business trip to Washington. I will help you put em on! Then we can make a trip over to gig harbor and visit AK's shop!! lol jk

Seriously though if you need any help I have all the tools and warm garage. I will be driving by your place next weekend also! Headed to Whistler.

Mike,

Appreciate the offer and I might just take you up on that. I'll bring a flat of Canadian beers

Give me a buzz when you're passing through. I'll be back in town by then.

Except mine is not made ouf of recycled aluminum cans. You probably could use it, but you WILL have to have it welded on. I just hope it fits right, unlike his slider bracket measurements.

The other thing is that when you put the bracket around the outside of the stock piece the inside diameter of the bracket is not right for the bar. It will slop around. I spent a huge amount of time fine tuneing the spacer placement so the bar would not move back and forth. If it does, you'll hear a ticking sound. Even if the gap is off as small as 1mm.

Look at all the little gems in here. It's a great thread.

Well what do you expect??

His spacers were Revtek ripoffs and then he tried to copy Hanna's bolt on sliders. Funny thing is with the sliders, he tried to copy the LC80 bolt on design and the 4R design for the sliders was a very diffeent design for the bolt on. It is people like him that prevent others from sharing their info.

BTW how did he get your design for the bracket?

If I look at T4R, a guy that used to work for SAW chipped in on the Relocs and brounght up a very good point, it seems that the travle angel of the shocks were changed with the relocs, this might be an even bigger cause of failure.

It won't die because it can't. It can't die because NE/AK is still in the business of producing unsafe products. However, point noted on getting the word out to others. I know it's difficult to see anything in here. And that most people have probably stopped reading anyway. We could create a "non conversation" topic, but that one would just get overrun as well.

Maybe I'll make an anti-NE website.

Hmmm.....

BTW, NE/AK are stating that their business is just fine, thank you very much. On the off chance that they might be selling their products to some poor and unsuspecting souls, does anyone know where they might be advertising? I've looked in the backs of a couple truck mags, but haven't found anything. Maybe local dealers?

Or, for those of you who have purchased NE products, did any of you hear about them from any source other than one of these forums? If so, where?

In my opinion, AK's 'news' about full steam ahead is all propoganda. He's a ˟˟˟˟˟ disturber and loves to play mind games. He knows how upset Tracy is and continues to push her buttons to get a reaction.

My honest opinion is to just write off the Dasystar kit and not pay NE a dime. He should just get a Revtek or Daystar kit, whichever will work for him. I wouldn't mess with spacer with drilled holes and glue all over them. Is there a chemical reaction between the glue and spacer material, who knows and why risk it??

For those with PCs, go to a DOS box and type:

IPCONFIG /RELEASE

wait for it to finish and type

IPCONFIG /RENEW

You'll probably get a new IP, but may end up getting the same one again. If you have a static IP (if you don't know, you don't), you can't use this trick.

Attention all XREAS owners- especially those of you using NE Relocs or faulty spacers-
PLEASE CALL TO COMPLAIN AND JUMPSTART THE INVESTIGATION BY THE FTC/ NHTSA
HERE IS THE DIRECT LINE TO CALL:
Carol at 1-800-424-9393 ext 1014

NE's information (buried in the other thread):
Nitrous Entperprises, LLC
Anthony Krueger and Ryan Cloud
nitrousenterprises.com
406-581-9378

RYAN D CLOUD
Address
171 E CANYON VIEW RD
BELFAIR, WA 98528

kickaha has done the legwork on this- this is the only way you can help future Toyota owners not get burned, and possibly get restitution for your unusable parts.

It's a simple phone call- no chatter on the internet needed, just tell them to investigate, whether you have NE's products or not.

Another option: Please fill this simple complaint form with the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION (FTC) to expedite matters.

https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01

Ryan Cloud and Anthony Krueger are the owners/ sales reps

If someone has the address or other relavant information to help fill out the forms, leaving sections blank is ok too.

ditto kickaha's post:
I’d like to encourage everyone reading this to file a complaint about Nitrous Enterprises. You do not need to have purchased NE products in order to file a complaint.
They will make sure the parts are safe and, if they are not, will require the modified vehicles to be made safe.
The more formal complaints, the more likely it is that they will take notice of this problem sooner. Your formal complaint will help. So, if you feel that this is a safety issue, please do everyone a favor and visit the following site to file your own complaint
