Would you buy this?

So there's a tube bumper on Craig's, kind of an interesting concept, but it definitely looks tough. I'm not sure how thick the wall is on the tubing, though. The center base of the bumper looks like an old hitch? But I'm not sure.

Anyways would you buy it? Only reason I'm considering is because it's just down the road.

What do ya'll think?

If you bought it how much money and time would you have in going and picking it up.

It is a fair price for what it would cost to make or buy a new one.

looking at all the pictures it does not show any brackets for attaching to your truck.

Over sight or there are none.

This looks to be in a semi finished condition is this home made?? i would worry the dimensions might be off.

Built be a known company ??

Is the Toyota it came off of on the premise?

To answer your question I would not Buy this bumper only because I could build my own better!!

If you can weld and fabricate you can correct any minor problems and make your brackets.

From my house to his, probably about 1hr round trip, maybe 15$ in gas. I was going to offer $200 cash, and plan to spend $200-220. Just spoke with the guy, super friendly. Stated that the bumper came with several trucks they had bought out in Idaho. Was not sure of a fabricator or origin. I was assuming he owns a fleet of toyotas or a wrecking yard of some sort. Maybe a toyota slave farm idk. This is one of several he had lying around. Last one.

I have experience in welding, although I do not own one. I suppose I could go see if my grandfather still has one lying around. The fact that it doesn't have mounting brackets is a bit of a turn off. All said and done I could probably have one made locally for a bit more and less trouble...

looks like a good bumper. definitely solidly built. price is ok. not great, but fair.

one other thing to consider is whether it will fit one your 4runner. Looks like the side supports could get in the way. If you look at the ones made by MC and TG, the side supports swoop down in order to fit. Might want to try it on before you pay for it.

Good eye! I did not catch that. There would be a considerable amount of fabrication going into this bumper, not to mention it clearing my stock tire carrier... I may just look at it and offer a lowball amount, see if he bites.

For for the $250 he's asking + $58.00 + tax, I could go pick up a TG at 4wheelparts in Tacoma... I suppose it makes more sense to opt out.

that's a good idea. I personally wouldn't pay $250 for it. Just FYI, I bought by MC rear bumper used for $150 in great condition
