Cool Who says IFS can't conquer rocks?

From the Walker Evans website. I don't know if maybe he has a couple trucks, but I know he was running a solid axle on a truck like that a year or two ago. I was watching 4x4tv about a month ago and noticed the IFS (and IRS) as he was scaling a bunch of rocks. I about fell over over. Looked like a tarantula, just hugging the rocks and scooting up over them. It was really cool.

He did replace his IFS with a Dana 60. Maybe with more development, he will go back to IFS.

I am pretty sure the completely independent rig took a really bad roll competing in Moab over Labor Day and Walker has since gone with good old solid axles.

Jeff, Steve, SteveO and Mark do pretty darn well on some of the hardest trails in the southwest that you can run a rig with a body using IFS.

They also had "Superlift's Off-road Adventures" going for a while, but I don't see it now.

Oh yeah, don't forget Trucks!

well my IFS can conquer the rocks! well it did this elk hunting season thats how i smashed the tail pipe into the bumper on a rock and had to use a stick to open the tail pipe back up . then while going up the same trail i had the trailer hitch on:pat: and cought that on a rock wich made the trailer hitch flex into the bumper and jam it into the body:pat: and i squeeked for the whole week!. then i drove through the river and almost got stuck but made it through the slippery river rocks!
well thats my rock conquering for now!
