Talking who makes the strongest best gears??

hey anyone have any opionion on who makes the best gears out there, gonna buy some when i do the sas, plan on putting them in myself, my friend builds drag cars and has all that ruckus to measure backlash etc, also gonna run lockers, just lockrights or something but there will still be lockers!

Superior Axle is the only one I have never heard a complaint about. Actually, I don't think I have ever heard any complaints about the Toyota ones either, but they are only available in limited ratios.

I believe Yukon is Randy's R&P house brand, good but not the best. I think the consensus is Precision Gear is the best. No gear will stand up to a bad install though. But it sounds like you know someone who knows what they are doing.

I went thru 3 sets of SAG 5.29's 4 cly gears in 5 months- partly due to bad setups, partly due to a full spool on asphalt. After the last failure, I upgraded to the V6 housing w/ Precision V6 gears. They have 30,000+ hard miles on'm with no problems.
