Almost forgot to mention, I just got done putting a 350 in a 91 4runner, you're really going to appreciate the power but be disappointed on the mileage.

It really wasnt too hard, just time consuming (7 months)
the cost was around $6500 bucks.

Cool. So let's see some close-up pics of the shackles in the rear!

How much lift did you end up with and did you use blocks/shims?

Thanks,

hey, no blocks or shims, ill take a picture of the shackle in the rear but its basically just a double shackle set up, autozone lift shackles running from the stock toyota hanger and that lies flat against the frame and the chevy shackle connects at the other end... i havent measured by lift yet but its pretty big...the springs shoudl settle.... boy do those things flex!

Cool thanks. That's what I'm doing too but just using Toyota/Chevy shackle combo. I'll see how it works and go from there.

Without the blocks you probably don't need the shims 'cause your driveline angle is still acceptable.

Later,

Warren
