looks decent and you can't beat the price on it + it's pretty light weight at only 17 lbs

The rails on top are not very strong. If they get caught by a tree branch they may tear off, mine did

How big a tree branch are we talking???

What about the Rola or Black Widow baskets? Guess mounting on the stock rack would be an issue with the Black Widow?

it doesn't take much of a tree to take a anything off a truck. wait i removed the radio antennas all 4 of them off the hoop thing. For lights you could mount them on the lower tube and have a bracket for the lights.

I just had stuff tied to the cross pieces that came with the 4runner, like in the picture that is how they are attaching the basket


Now I open the doors and strap it to the roof.
