t100 front and rear axles into 94 toyota pickup?

Is it possible to swap the rear end in my pickup for the t100's? My rear end is done for and I can get a t100 rear end and front axle for cheap. So is something like this possible?

Yes it is but the T100 axle is wider. What year is the T100? You can use the 3rd member out of that and put it in your truck if it is the same gear ratio

It's a 96 t100. I was kinda hoping to use the gear ration in the t100? It's an automatic and.I wanted something more than my current 4.10s?

Yes, you can swap it in.

It isn't exactly a bolt in affair. Welding and fabrication are required if you want to use the entire axle. It is also 3in wider per side and will not fit under your bed without some sheetmetal changes or a heck of a lift kit.

The t-100 front diff should swap right in, AFAIK, the center section and mounting points are the same. The drive axles are 3in longer to account for the added width of the T100 frame.

If you want to create a monster, put the front and rear in, add a long travel kit (Blazeland or Total Chaos), mix in some fiberglass fenders and bedsides and have a nice prerunner style truck.

front long travel kits widen the track width 6.5" on 86 to 95 PU and 4 runner
the T100 axle will be seven and three quarters wider.
you will need fiberglass fenders/bedsides or flares or just cut sheet metal to clear the tires with the wider axle or long travel kit.

the T100 axle is an inch and three quarters wider than the front of the stock T100
don't know what you have thats why i posted the link for width specs.

T100 Rear Axle Swap

Bump. Time to resurrect the deal lol. I'm hoping to get similar answers. I have a 94' 4x4 / 3.slo, 5-speed manual (R150F tranny) which I will upgrade to the 5VZ engine later this year or next spring. My goal is to turn my old mini truck into a capable pre-runner / trail truck but am not looking to build an all out crawler but more of a moderate trails camper which will pull a small camp trailer in tow. I've recently bought Hankook DynaPro MT 33 x 12.5 R15 tires and will first be doing a 2" body lift next week (summer 2018). I've learned however that this 2" of body lift will still not be enough to mount them. From what I've found, I also need at least 2" of suspension lift (in addition to the 2" body) to fully clear the 33" tires without any fender cutting, pinch weld pounding, etc.

For the suspension lift I've decided to go with 57" Ford F150 leafs (3" x 3/1) as opposed to the more common 63" Chevy leafs that everyone and their brother has seemed to do out of peer pressure lol. In either case I'm wanting to avoid use of any blocks and after much exhaustive research it seems the 57' Fords work equally well if not better in some cases as I've found a lot of people saying the 63's are at times too flexy, too bouncy, have axle wrap issues, and in general stick out too far in the back. So ...57's it is.

Lastly, for the front I think that instead of going the IFS ball joint spacer route (and likely an added need for 1" wheel spacers since I'm using the oem stock 15" aluminum wheels with 4.75" backspace) I'm feeling like I should go ahead and buy the Blazeland long travel DIY kit instead. I mean if I'm going to spend at least $200 on BJ spacers and 2 or 4 wheel spacers it would be better to just spend all that on the long travel kit instead and actually get something more functional for the money apart from just height.

So, all of those many decisions actually led me here to consider a wider rear axle too. Since the long travel kit will give me roughly 3" wider track per side I don't want the rear looking or driving weird with the stock rear end width of ~60" and likewise, I didn't feel like adding 2" rear wheel spacers to help compensate would ever be a good option, thus the only actual better option is a wider axle. The 99.5+ Taco's don't fit the bill but the T100 seems to for sure, is more beefy in construction, would obviously work with the 5VZ upgrade since that is what all T100's had, and there happens to be a few different axles I can grab locally.

Unfortunately though they are all from 2WD automatics (I don't know if this matters a lot yet).

The T100 rear diff code I'm looking at is A08A (diff) / A340E (tranny) and from what I've found is 3.92:1 (for standard cab 2WD automatic models) or 3.77:1 (for ex-cab 2WD automatic models) The 4.10 / 4.30's are exclusively in the 4x4 T100's. If I can't find a stock 4.30 set I will obviously need to regear before I even put the tires back on.

My gear set in my stock rear end differential (mated to my 5-speed R150F) / is the G254 model. (G = 8" type / 25 = 4.556 (aka "4.56") for 31" tires / 4 = 4 pinion gears).

So..given I am moving up to 33" tires, and have a 5-speed manual, I assume I can still use the T100 axle and can swap in different gears, but most importantly...what gears????

Also of most major importance is will the T100 diff bolt right up to my R150F's drive shaft without issues or modifications? If mods are required,...what are they???

I assume I would have to change the T100 diff gears from the supposed 3.92 to at least 4.56's or 4.88's. Can this be done cheaply and how? This will remain a city / highway truck for the most part so I don't feel 5.29's are needed. At most I would do the 4.88 gear set and a Detroit locker if I can afford it.

To help others, the main web references I've looked at for help with this possible axle mod are:

I have seen several 3rd gen pickups with 33's with only a torsion bar crank. The width of the tires and running the proper back spacing on the rims seem to be what I see most people struggle with.
