Steel cable and Hawse Fairlead?

Just mounted my Warn M8000 with steel cable. The roller fairlead that came with it will not mount to my Marlin Crawler bumper-It requires a hawse fairlead.
Other than steel, what are my options for a fairlead to run with steel cable?

thats about it for using steel cable. You can't use the aluminum fairleads, they are meant for synthetic line and the steel cable will eat it up.

The base-model warn winches come with a steel hawse fairlead.

However, i would suggest doing yourself a favor and replacing the steel cable with synthetic line and an aluminum fairlead.

Steel hawse it then, Wabit and death cougar are just suggesting the best option, synthetic is also what I would do. Its the lightest safest option available, but do what you can afford.

Thank's 92 yota I just PM'd you. And I was looking at the synthetic cable and Aluminum Fairlead. I would like to save the weight but $$$$ pricey, for now I think I will have to go with the steel cable and fairlead.
I wish I could use the new roller fairlead that came with the Warn but my Marlin Bumper will only work with a Hawse type fairlead.
