Portable air compressor rebranding?

I was looking to buy a portable air compressor for airing up my tires, and finally settled on the Smittybilt one:

http://shop.synergyoffroad.com/produ...&categoryId=23

I got it on some other website for $65 with free shipping. Not bad, I would say.

Then I started looking at other air compressor reviews, and came upon this Warn one:

I was comparing the numbers, then suddenly realized that, "Hey...these two kinda look the same..." Take a look for yourself, but I think it's the same compressor, but branded differently. They even look the same, except for the paint, and come with the same accessories. And the price difference? How about $65 versus $125!!!

I'll let you guys know how well this thing works when I get it. BTW, I think I got a pretty good deal.

Yes, you are correct.....

BTW, with more searching, I have found a lot more look-alikes, at differing prices. For instance, Viair makes one that also looks like these two. Hmmm.....

Not unusual. There are not that many mfgs. for compressors like that and some make generic kits that they re-sell to other retailers who rebrand them and sell as their own product.
