Dual cases or atlas?

Alright so I got a question obviously..
What would be best? Dual ultimate cases with twin stick and all the good stuff, or single atlas case? I like the idea of having front diggs without having a cable operated rear drive disconnect(will be dd don't wanna hack interior up to bad) what about making a dual case setup with the atlas? Possible? They make a 23 spline Yota case, what about getting a crawl box and bolting it together? Or am I just crazy? Or get marlin ultimate duals with tg airline rear disconnect?

Why would you want to dual a atlas case? I believe they make a 5 speed version of those now? With remote cable actuation?

I dunno...I'd go dual cases(2.29, 4.7), 23 spline, tripple stick. The only place that I've seen that makes a rear disconnect is FROR but I believe WabFab had a disconnect for towing use for sale...

Assuming you have an 88 4 runner, with a 22re, I'd vote for the dual cases, simply from a cost/strength POV. The atlas is going to provide you with more beef than you need unless you are running REALLY large tires.

The atlas is also significantly more expensive.

Up to you though. Again, some specs on the truck would make responses FAR more useful.

And just my $.02, I have NEVER seen a front dig on any trail run of moderate to difficult trails. Only time I've seen one used was on a buggy/truggy trail, and other times when people were showing off.

Sure, it would be sweet to have the capability, but I wouldn't make that a deal breaker on your choice.

dual case with an atlas would defeat the point of spending the extra $$ on an atlas IMO..

Yeah tg is making a cool little rear drive disconnect not available yet.

88 4runner with the 3.slow. It's all torn apart 3.0 is coming out, 3.4 going in. Will have the 5 speed, run 37s maybe 40s.
And I think the front diggs isnt really a must have, however it would be awesome on some tight trails we have here, and to show off.. Haha

ive used front end diggs in a buddys 87 chevy... i know everybody knows about this tough tight spot im always crying about in the trail i have. well anyway, my 2 toyotas so far are the only ones that could fit, but i got his chevy through but turning left and wedging his rock slider against a tree, then disconnected the rear and pointed the front wheels left and gave it hell to pretty much make a 0degree turn.

so moral of the story, an atlas case can do everything dual cases do PLUS it has rear disconnect, yet dual cases with a F.R.O.R rear disconnect may be plenty more cheaper
