people on 35's

I have been doing some reseach and reading the post on here... anyway I was just wondering how many have 35's on a 94 body style and how much lift it took to clear them

I was thinking about the Skyjacker 5" and 2 " body?

Any sugestion would be nice.

That would be more than enough to clear them I would think.

91 (2nd Gen) here. Had 35s under mine with very little rubbing when I only had my four inch susp lift. Now I have another three inch body lift and I could easily go to 36's. Blue

Very true. I know mine were true 35s. Isnt BFG one of the tires that end up being smaller once installed? Blue

That bodystyle will hit 35's with a 3" body and some trimming or a 4" suspension and trimming.

Pro-Comps are notoriously smaller than listed, BFG's and MT/R's less so and some Swampers even measure at or over. Pretty much any tire is going to be less than listed when mounted and under load.

I have 33's with a 1" bodylift and modest trimming. Balljoint spacers and some rear trimming ought to do 35's give or take.

If you are feigning for 35's, just get the rubber and make it work.

Oh yeah & it matters on the width of wheels (backspacing?) you have. I learned that from a little flamage I took due to my lack of knowledge before.

It'll work. '92 xcab p/u. 4"procomp and 2" body lift. 35 BFG muds. I run a 3.25 backspacing on 15x8 rims. I rub a little everywhere. The rear part of the rear wheel well will rub. Also i rub just a touch in the front wheel well.

After your first run the rear will clearance itself ok. The front only rubs occasionally.

My last run on the Rubicon i had very little rubbage. I ran the Dusy as well and had no rubbage. One of these days I am gonna have to trim the sheetmetal away.
