New Guy here ... 94' Runner and some questions

So How do I get 33's on my 4Runner?
Which is the best IFS lift?
Why doesn't anyone make a IFS lift taller than 6"?

I kid, I kid ... I'm just saying Hello!

I just acquired a 1994 4 Runner (my girlfriend made me buy her's, it was sittin in her back yard. How do women do that?) and am in the process of putting it back on the road, it is stock with 31's. I looked at a couple of Forums and this one seemed the best, so here I am. Unfortuantely I like tools (the mechanical kind, no funny jabs required) and I'm stupid so I won't be able to leave the thing alone, so I am sure real questions will come soon enough. Anyway ... Hi.

welcome. congrats on getting a Runner. i think you'll like it...

to fit 33s, you'll need:
-IFS bracket kit (4")
-BJ spacers/rear coils (and possibly a 1" or 2" body lift)
-3" body lift
-fender cutting/clearanced inner fenders

as for my lift, it should be for sale within a month or so... if you're really interested, shoot me a PM.

Man, did you come to the right place , but seriously...you've found the right place and since I too have a '94, I hope that I'll be of some help to you, although I'm a "newbie" to the site as well and have found it, it's members and of particular usefulness, it's "search" feature, to be indispensible.

Welcome and happy 'runnin.

I run 33x10.5 on my 95--only BJ spacers and Downey HD springs. I have Procomp shocks for a 4 inch lifted truck. I don't rub at all even under full compression.
To run 33x12.5 you will need to do more.

How to fit 33s on an IFS truck or 4Runner:
http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/...it.shtml#FAQ10

No need for a 4" or taller lift unless you want to go that way.

I hope this is a joke. You don't need that much lift for 33's. Even 33/12.5's. 4" IFS + 1.5" BJ's/coils + 3" BL = 8.5" of total lift. You could do 37's or more with that.

6" lift is for pansies, most of us are running 18" if not more. Hockey pucks are the best method, try to get them in bulk on ebay. The ones with the Avalanche logo seem to work best. Anyway welcome to the site, it is the best. And yeah, I saw your jokes, very nice
