fixed...clamp loose but it really looked like it was leaking around that shaft. wind changes and blowing it all around...

just to let you know, there is no diff drop made for the 2nd gen 4Runners. im not sure if somebody has told you that above or not i didn't read every single post.

they say that they did one, but there are no pics of what or how they did it.
i recently helped a guy put a 4" IFS lift on his runner. we had to take the front crossmember (the one that holds the diff and the bottom of the skid bolts to) off. i couldn't see any way that you could drop the diff, without going to the same lengths that the 4" IFS lifts go to for reinforcment and everything.

What way are you guys looking at dropping it? a custom front crossmember? or what? if you do end up pulling it off, let us know.

its worth a shot....roger researches alot of this stuff and looks deep into it..so i would trust his call on this one.

I think we are all anxious to see how this turns out. This could be a big help for alot of us. I agree Roger Brown is very knowledgable and has been a great asset to the offroading community. His work is always top notch. Keep us posted on the progress.
