"Horse Collar" Clearance

I've searched and found a little information on this, but nothing too specific. I am putting the finishing touches on a dual case install with rear cv driveshaft. How much clearance (in inches) should I have between the CV and "the horse collar" that supports the gas tank, etc. Is 1/2" enough? I have a TG 4" rear classic lift, if that helps. I can also post a pic if necessary. I'm just not sure how much the CV normally moves under acceleration/flex. Thanks!

I learned my lesson about this topic this past summer. After adding a cage and then throwing in a couple hundred pounds of camping gear, my CV was rubbing the crossmember bad when I would accelerate in 1st & 2nd gear and start to head uphill on a trail. Mine was close to start with and got too close after adding all that weight. I plan on clearancing my crossmember sometime this week.

I see you're from Frisco. DIRTCO is from Frisco as well.

Also, I wanted to see if you saw this thread about the Colorado 4Runner Jamboree this summer and send you an invite https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f15/...2010-a-199370/

The CV on my '85 rubbed with dual case, you can see the shiny mark where it would hit below:
