Drivetrains and lifts

Drivetrains and lifts
I have been trying to absorb all of the pros and cons with suspension lifts. I am about to install a 2inch BL and wanted a few more inches.
I do alot of highway driving 70-85mph range and wanted to know if adding a few inches will take my driveline out of range that may cause problems.
The front set up I would like to do a cornfed 1 1/2inch spacer and 2 inch spacer in the rear OR 2 inch spacer front and 2 1/2inch spacer in the rear. (I like the slight rake look plus I am planning on adding a safari rack-which I figure would add some weight to the back). I am also going to add a diff drop kit.
I am hoping this minimum set up will keep my driveline happy... any advice?

you can max out at 2.5" of lift all around and be fine. even with the body lift you should be fine. i don't personally own a 3rd gen but from seeing other 3rd gens out there i haven't heard of any problems here so enjoy liftin it
i'd go w/ a suspension lift first before a body lift. I'm not too fond of bl's so (even though i have one... go figure).

Thanks for the info... I have read about a few vibrations, etc after lifting it up. I already have the BL from 4crawler. I felt this was the safest way to lift up my truck without effecting shocks, drivetrains, etc.
I figured with a 2inch BL and 1 1/2 to 2 inch spacer it should give me a good look with my 265'/75/16's.
I will absolutely get a diff drop kit for the front.
Any drivetrain experts out there willing to comment????

With a 1.5-2" suspension lift and 2" body lift your 265's are going to look tiny IMO.
I would install the body lift first (since you already have it) and if you think it needs more lift, then go with whatever suspension you choose.
As I stated ealier, I havent had any trouble w/ my 2" Cornfed spacers.(CV angle or otherwise)

Cool, I am going to see how it looks... I was hoping to have my runner in the shop this evening to put the BL on and see how it looks. I will probally still do the 1 1/2 front spacer and 2 inch rear spacer (anticipating extra weight from the safari rack).
As soon as I get it done, I will get some pics up.

I wanted to keep the BL no more than 2inches due to the increased issues with the 3 inch, plus I already bought the 2 inch kit. I am looking into the average life span with an increased angle in the driveline if I would do the spacer kit.
You are right, I will modify my sig.
