Hey, whatever works for you man...
Actually, I think I'd contact and ask how much they'd go for a group pricing see if you can guarantee a certain number of people and also remind them (especially if they do online business) that you'll be posting their business and what EXCELLENT customer service they provide on a forum with xxxxx number of members in different parts of the world.

But hey, this is your gig

ok well I received my shackle this weekend. Now the question is, do I have to paint it? If I don't, is it a lot easier to rust? Also it didn't come with the bolt/pin thingy that hooks it up to your tow hitch. So...where do I go to get one of these?

NAPA, Checker, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, or WalMart.

Rob,

Yeah I painted mine. I imagine if you only use it when you're wheeling you could probably let it go unpainted, but if you leave it in there more often you should probably paint it.

Just hit it with some 220 grit sand paper, then wash everything off with soap and water. Shoot it with a coat or 2 of primer, then some top coat.

I painted the receiver hitch flat black, and left the shackle and pin with just primer for now. Maybe one of these days I'll go wild and paint the shackle orange, or red like Corey.

ok I just sanded down everything. Now is it safe to paint the insides, the thread and the pin? Just wonderin if that'll screw up the way it screws in and stuff.

Here is an interesting alternative. It is not a Warn, but steel and cheap. Only a bit more time left. Buy It Now is still less than $30!!
