'90 p/u suspension advice

I have looked around from other posts to find what I'm looking for but haven't had much luck. Finding information for new suspension from past posts for a newb like me can be a little overwhelming.

I have a '90 pickup 4x4. My rear suspension is lifted with 2" blocks and my front has the torsion bars to match the rear. I want to get rid of the blocks and replace the stock springs which are sagging with 2" or 2 1/2" lifted springs that are more rugged than stock and will allow me to carry a heavy load (2 dirt bikes, elk, lots of hunting gear, etc.). What springs would you recommend for this?

I want to loosen my torsion bars because the ride is really stiff. Modifying the front suspension is the most confusing for me. What do I need to do exactly to keep a 2" lift in the front without tight torsion bars? What kit would you recommend for this?

I am not mechanically handicapped. I used to do all of my own work on my past vehicles, though repair and replacements was limited. Is replacing the rear springs something I can do with a lift and basic tools? How about the front suspension? I am running 31x10.5 mtrs and do require good flex with a load.

Thanks for any adivce you might give.

deaver makes a great desert racing springs but i dont know how much of that youd do in idaho. you can send your main leaf to deaver in santa ana CA and they can make you a spring set for about 200 per side. then you dont have to move and remount your shackles....

You could always do the 63" chevy spring mod. ( if you have accsess to a welder ). They will net you roughly 2-3" of lift and since they are from a half ton chevy, they will be able to support big loads.

I have heard that you can pull the torsions out, rotate them in their pivots(splined mounts attached to the control arm) in such a way as to keep them closer to the factory setting, while still giving a little lift. Never tried myself though.
