88 axle housing.........90 axle shaft....Fit?

OK,
I found a V-6 rear axle housing/diff for a 88 truck. He says it has 1 bent axle shaft (housing is OK). I still have the axle shafts for the 90 4Runner we parted out. Will they work? (88 = leaf, 90 = coil springs)

BTW this is to install the wide-track axle in the 85 truck

Shaft; yes. Problem will be the brake backing plate, specifically where the e-brake linkage attaches. Likely will have to press the backing plate off of the bad and good axle and swap them.
