'84 Truck Lift Q's

Would the OME lift kit provide enough clearance for 33 X12.5 tires?
I've heard good things about their products, but I'm having a bit of trouble finding out if the kit provides enough lift to run 33's.
My 84 truck has a Rancho kit (3", I think) that rides horrible (WAY too stiff).
I want to keep the lift to a minimum; just enough to run 33's without rubbing. And, I want a good ride on or off road. I won't be rock-crawling, just easy off-roading and street driving.

Let's hear some opinions!
Thanks

Jim

I put a set of 33's on my old 84 without any lift. well, a 1 inch shackle lift. I just carefully beat the seam on the firewall back. The 33's rubbed a little when turned to full lock. but other than that they did fine. So I would say that they will more than likely fit. If not, look into some longer shackles. Or just get the BFH ready.

It should work. Yes, watch for the metal seam.

You selling the Rancho when done??? My son has an 85 he wants to lift, and he wheels the crap out of it....(see post on engine parts wanted due to hydrolocked)

The OME lift will give you a better than "factory new" ride and handling, but it's 2" of lift my still leave you rubbing some. A 1-2" BL will get you more room if needed.
