3/8" x 100' Amsteel Synthetic rope inside a TJM on Warn Winches

Is there any problem using 3/8" x100ft sythetic rope on a warn winch inside of a TJM? I'd really like to have 80 feet since rockstomper recommends that but all i can find outside of rockstomper is 100 feet.

Anyone on here use 100ft rope with my setup? I don't want it to bunch up while winching and rub on the inside of the bumper.

I prefer to have 125 feet on my winch that extra has proven a big help many times if you have to go down to a rig them back up and come off at an angle

The M8000 will only handle 80 ft of 3/8", try to add more and it starts binding. I have a HS9500 and currently running 5/16" x 125', but plan to change out to 3/8" x 100' simply because it spools up better. If you need the extra length you can alway have an extention line made up, that's what my old line will become......

Yup, as already mentioned, get a 50' extension.
It stores up small, is very light and will fit almost anywhere inside the vehicle.

Is there a specific reason why you are looking outside of rockstomper? They are priced really well and are a good supplier.

They don't offer online ordering and I was in the Philippines when I made this thread. I ended up going with Viking 3/8"x80', an aluminum hawse fairlead and a new excel hook. The hook is super nice. All for $260 shipped from offroadoverstock.com

I'm really happy to get rid of the steel rope and roller fairlead. It cleaned up the front end while lightening it up at the same time. Can't beat that.
