Mmm... Seems to be a little more than desired...

I was thinking in some 8x15's with 4'' BS (Offset -12) or 3.75'' BS (Offset -19).

Tomorrow a friend of mine is going to borrow me his 33's on 10x15 wheels to see how the 4.56's move them. In the paper 4.10's with 31's is quite simillar to 4.56's with 33's so we'll see... I suppose they won't rub with my 3'' lift if I don't wheel with them. I only want to see the road manners.

Thanks for your pics guys!

4.56 with 33's wasn't too bad in my truck, and your diesel has a ton more torque than my miserable 3.0!

I rub a bit when turned at full lock on the inner fender with 3.75" BS. I imagine that it would be a lot worse with 4" BS. Mike....do you rub at all?

Yes, diesels came with 215R15 tires and 4.10's or 4.30 and 265/70R15 tires and from stock it's too low ratios.

Now that I've 31's the speedo goes exactly like the GPS and the gears are perfect.

Think that I'm able to go in low gears, in 1st and 1000rpm and with the lockers it's like a tractor hehehehe

Hey, if you build it, and are too tall, you can get two ATV winches and connect them to the frame, and the end of the rope to the axle (using a pulley on the frame) and get the winch to lower the truck so you can drive in, park, then release the tension....

For a DD? I don't think this is permitted by the Spanish or European laws...

If I had that dilema I'd put a linked air suspension like the 4Mogger's.

I'll be putting 33's, when I've a Toyota Aygo as a DD then will see hehehe

Do you've the Aygo in the States?

51.13 MPG the gas version and 57.37 MPG the diesel version hehehe

i rub up front on the firewall at full lock, flexed up. even with the pinch weld BFH'd and fenders trimmed... it's not too bad though. rubbed a bit in the rear, but i took care of that with the grinder. one of these days i'll either retub the firewall or move the axle/steering box forward.

Molly has one in the rear, it's REALLY cool.

Hello,

I've been testing the tires+wheels of a friend of mine (He has a Explorer Procom Stage II 4'' kit) and I liked a lot the results.

His wheels are US Wheels 10x15 with 4'' BS and 33x12.5x15 BFG M/T's.

Here are the pics hehe

They don't stick out as mush as I thought

Love the mild lifted + big tires look. Very Icelandic hehe

They rubbed quite when turning 75-100% but I only wanted to test the road manners.

As I stimated on the paper, they're quite identical to the 4.10's+31's combo. I only noticed they were bigger when crawling up to the seat. With 4.10's and 31's my speedo was 100% exact to the GPS, with 4.56's and 33's it's off by 3-4km/h, not a big deal hehe

I've decided to go 33's as the truck runs as good as before hehe.

Last question, do you think I'll be able to use a 10x15 BS 4.25'' wheel without rubbing issues?

David
