2.4L/5lug SAS

2RZ/5lug SAS
Hey guys, new guy here. A little background on me, I'm an Army Medic and before that I was a diesel mech. I know I'm about to take on a big project, and I'm pretty confident in my mechanical/welding skills.
I've done most of the research, but this is my first 4x4 build (I've done a couple frame off restorations on 1 generation Camaros, and one engine swap on a 4th gen 'Maro).
What I need help with is the engine/tran/tcase. I've searched and searched and I still can't find a clear answer on what part number tcase/transmission I need. The main thing I'm worried about is the 2.4L's compatability with 2.7L parts.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Pics of the build will follow.

Ok, down to specific questions. Sorry, I was at work earlier when all this popped in my head.
1. TG SAS kits come with the rear sump oil pan, which they say most SAS's need. They only offer it for the 3.4 and 2.7, I have the 2.4. Is the 2.4 and 2.7 oil pan the same thing? I would assume that toyota would use the same block and only modify the bore to get the extra .3L, but I'm not sure.
2. Transmission/Tcase. I believe I have the W59 tranny, I'm not sure exactly how to check, but I do know that I need a different tail housing to bolt up a Tcase. Do I need a whole new tranny? Or can I get away with using the 4x4 tail housing with the original output shaft? If I do need a new Gearbox, does the 2.7L version bolt up to the 2RZ? I'm a little sketched out on this cuz the 2.7 uses a 10" flywheel and the 2.4 is something like 9 1/2".
And how much lift does the 63" Chevy leafs give to the rear? I'm looking at the TG rear set up and it just seems like $700 is a little high for the fairly basic stuff that's in the kit.
Picture of it right now with fabtech lift spindles and MTs (don't ask me why I did it, it seemed like a good idea at the time)

1. You need it so the sump is in the rear. Not sure on the 2.7. I only owned one and that was a long time ago. The TG Tacoma SAS kit is a very good kit as it makes life a lot simpler.
2. You should be able to read your door jamb and see which tranny you indeed have.
3. Not a Chebby fan in the rear at all as they are too long of a spring IMO and axle wrap and body roll aren't worth the flex. The TG rear lift kit again makes life simple and works.

Ok, sounds like the trannys are interchangeable, I'm gonna start searching around to find a toyota parts niche, hopefully the oil pan p/n are the same.
Just got off the phone with the toyota wrecking yard out here in CA, got lined up with a W56 and two 228 t cases for $1000, figure I'm gonna go swoop those up tomorrow after I finish packing up my house for the move to Montana.
Does all of that sound right? The W56 and dual 228s should give me a passenger side drop, which opens up the axle options correct?
