rattle on bed or tailgate??

I've got a 2005 D-cab Tundra. With the rear window down, I can hear a rattle of some sort every time I hit a bump. I don't know what it is, my tailgate feels securely closed. It's coming from the bed/tailgate area. With the vehicle parked, I've checked the rear bumper, tailgate and even tried to shake the bed but I can't reproduce this rattle unless the vehicle is moving. Has anyone else encountered this problem or have any idea where this "rattle" may be originating from? Thanks,

If possible remove your tailgate. Drive around with your tailgate off and see what you can or cannot hear. That will tell you if it's your tailgate or not. If your only hearing this when the rear window is open the noise could be from the wind hitting the tailgate, wind can make wierd noises.
