Rattle can LC

There is a guy down the street selling a 1979 LC that looks good from far away but once you get close to it you can tell no one has put any time into it. He spray painted the body red and the undercarage black. but other than that I
don't even know if it runs. Hes asking 4,500 for it. My opinion it would be a project fixer up. Is the price resonable?

In a word, no.
$4,500 if it ran great, had a good body and a good interior would be reasonable.

I wouldn't say its a horrible price, I've seen worse go for the same price around here. Also depends on what you're looking for- a restoration project, or something to turn intoa trail vehicle.

Ya it doesn't look too bad from the road driving by but I stoped and looked at it and it has no rear seats and the floor baords are rusted and the undercarage looks pretty dirty. U can tell he just spray painted it to make it look good to sell it. I'm giving him a call tonight.

Local newspaper 3 weeks ago a guy had a 72LC with a 350 engine swap, hardtop, some body rust, 31 MTs and it went for 2K

He started the add 3 mos earlier for 4K and couldn't sell it.

FYI
