I'm more braun than anything but I've got me a belly - does help hide holsters though.

You might look into the Galco one that eluded to earlier on in the thread.
I know several officers that are similar in size that carry it off-duty with no problems at all.

LOL, well i am NOT the skinnest person i have ever seen that is for sure, my brother makes me look big, he is skin and bones but that little bugger is wiry and strong.

I will have to look into that holster. I have not even really shopped or looked at holsters in years since i got my Glock 30. Might have to look at what new stuff has come out.

Interesting note I was reading some notes last night on the 1911A1 and it seems that some police forces and armed forces units are switching back to it because of the superior capabilities of the .45cal round in comparison with the 9mm NATO standard ammo.

That's interesting.
I'm honestly not a big fan of the .45cals - I'm a 9mm man myself.

I've shot a few 1911's and they are really nice guns and they shoot extremely well.
Maybe one of these days I'll get myself one.
If Obama will let me...

I have heard that as well, they started switching over a few years ago and have been presuring to bring back a .45 as the issue pistol over the M9. Last i heard there is a mad race from gun manufactures trying to get a contract.

The M&P .45 was made for this reason if i remember right.
