I Like it!! Great Idea to encapsulate the speakers that way. I may utilize that concept in my XJ, the stupid windwing things leak and it ruined the front speakers :{

This Truck is only getting BETTER and BETTER!!! Keep up the GREAT WORK!!

thanks guys ..
the enclosures can be to small though .. the larger the better .. as mids and tweeters are not really ment to be sealed . Because of the air space I have i'm hoping they will sound as good as they were ment to ..chrisp.. I'm not a "sterio guy" , I'm going by a very reliable source

You are giving me quite a few ideas, I am about to start playing with fibre glass as well, I may not be quite as good as you are with it, I haven't had much to do with it really. fantastic work there, you may have a few more ideas for me yet, so keep it coming.

Clive.

Talking

The more I read this thread the more I learn, and one thing I have learned from you is attention to detail. I have just made up a snorkel for my runner, and one of the things that has bothered me a little is, once I have cut the guard to allow the snorkel to sit nicely in place, is there is nothing behind it. I would therefore like to know how I would go about fixing fibreglass to the metal guard in a very permanent manor. I am thinking of making a backing for the guard, so it can be seen as something behind the snorkel rather than just a cut out. I think it would look so much better when you see a white panel going under the snorkel that is part of the guard, and not just an add on.

Thanks Clive .. the detail , in my opinion, is what either "makes it or breaks it" , it's just how I do things ..

glad your getting some insperation
