front engine harness is now done as well

also started on the vent windows..
i'm tinting the windows , so while I was at it , I figured I might as well clean up the frames (there was a little rust)
so all sandblasted , and ready for some epoxy

continueing on .. and excited for it's coat of color ...
I welded up a bunch of unwanted holes on the firewall and got all the new nuts installed to make the pieces "boltable" .

also working on the tranny tunnel ..

got it cut and ground

also started to attach some of the "hold down studs" for the emergance brake cable .. still have to do the rear heater line hold downs .. I used these pieces , and just drilled holes to plug weld them in place ..

got lots of the welding I wanted to do .. but I still have a bit more ..

got my tank filled today .. and continued on ..
got lots done .. but was slowed on finding 11x1.25 mm nuts for the seat belts .. crap , I forgot all about it !!
I ended up spendin 1/2 the day looking for these stupid little nuts , finally I went to the wrecker and "knocked" some off with a hammer and chistle ..
so anyway .. made some backing plates for the seatbelt and seattrack bolt down nuts ..

and got them welded ...

just about ready to seal up the underside and give it some BLACK ...

still prepping for paint ..
got the firewall all cleaned up .. found a wee bit of rust , but soon got that dealt with
cleaning up the firewall

all wire wheeled , and cleaned

scuffed and zinc'd

also got the underside scuffed and zinc'd

the topside and bottom side wil be "sealed" in the paint booth ...
ant last but not least .. I POR-15'd the inside of the rockers , cab corners , and cowl ... I was able to scuff the rockers and cab corners when I had them apart .. the cowl I was not able to ..
I dont know how well the POR will work in the cowl , but I figured It would be better then nothing

and YES .... tomorrow it goes to paint the inners

One day I will import a gen1 four door truck and do this same thing but with a 1uzfe. And oh boy is she gonna be a street queen. I must perfect my skills now before attempting the dream truck.
