well....sense it took basically two years but i finally got my 4x4 done and my axles built i decided i wanted somethin new to do so i just bought a 1uz.. time to sell the 3.4 and get started!

been up all night researching stuff for my 1uz swap! looks like its gonna be pretty simple compared to what i thought!! just looked down and seen that its 4:00 a.m.. i feel like a crack head!! (hyped up on gummy bears and mtn dew! learned alot but now its time to go to sleep!!!

Looks sweet! I remember reading somewhere online that a canadian dude 1uz swapped his 92 pickup! It was also featured in toyota 4x4 owner mag.

its out of a 1990 lexus ls400. it is a 4.0L v8, has 256 hp and 260 lb·ft of torque! 3.4 has 183 hp and 217 lb·ft of torque.. and the v8 weighs LESS then my 3.4!!

Yep, I have to take the input shaft, planitary gears, oil pump, bellhousing and torque converter and put them on/in my trans. I'm thinking about a shift kit while its apart.

Love the look of the wheels on that thing. Comparing pics from when you started out, it looks way better, especially with the rack gone. Plate is badass too!
